Change the SAE oil. Conair recommends the use of Synthetic oil. switching to a synthetic oil The vacuum pump has been filled with the proper oil and tested by Conair before shipment. after the first oil change. This oil should be changed periodically. Use SAE 40 regular or a synthetic oil. -
