Playing the Automatic
Demos
You can set the RG-7 so that it automatically starts a demo
performance when you turn it on.
You also can have a slide show of your favorite images play
simultaneously in the connected external display or
television.
Preparing the Songs to Be Played
1.
After connecting the USB memory to the computer,
create a folder named "AUTODEMO" on the USB
memory.
2.
Save the songs (SMF data) you want to have played in
the "AUTODEMO" folder.
3.
Connect the USB memory to the Ext Memory port of
the RG-7 (p. 22).
4.
Turn on the power to the RG-7.
After you turn on the power, the songs saved in the USB
memory's "AUTODEMO" folder are played
continuously. In addition, when you have your
preferred images saved in the USB memory's
"_PICTURE" folder, a slide show of the images is
displayed on the connected external display or
television.
When Running Slide Shows Through a
Connected External Display or Television

Make sure the power to the RG-7 is turned off (p. 19),
then connect the external display or television (p. 47, p.
49).
* You cannot use a television and external display
simultaneously.
6.
Prepare the images you want to have appear in the slide
show and save them to the USB memory (p. 51).
Chapter 6. Changing Various Settings
Muting a Specific Part
(Minus One)
You can temporarily mute any specific part. This temporary
muting of a specified part is called "Minus One."
1.
Press the [Function] (Exit) button, getting its indicator
to light.
2.
Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [
button to display the PLAY screen.
3.
Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [
button to get the value for "Minus One" to flash.
4.
Press the [
] (Value -) button or [
button to switch the Minus One function on and off.
Value
The specified part is muted.
Set the part to be muted in "Specifying
the Part to Be Muted" (p. 94).
On
* When Moving Keys is in use, it is not
applied to the part muted with Minus
One.
Off
Minus One is switched off.
