Level 0 -
no oscillating movement, for thin material
Level I -
slight oscillating movement, for thicker material
Level II -
medium oscillating movement, for hard material
Level III-
strong oscillating movement, for fast work
7.7 Straight cut
 Make sure that the base plate (7) of the saw rests fully on the work piece and that the saw blade
(13) is in the proper angle with respect to the work piece.
 Draw the cutting line on the work piece.
 Direct the saw blade along the line with light pressure and at a constant rate.
 To make a straight cut parallel to an outer edge of the work piece, use the rip fence (9).
 Loosen the two screws (10), place the rip fence (9) on the desired gauge and re-tighten the
screws (10).
7.8 Diagonal cuts
The compass saw can be used for diagonal cuts of 0 - 45° in both directions.
 To adjust the base plate (7), remove the battery (15) first and loosen the screws at the bottom of
the device using a hex-key wrench.
 Push the base plate (7) back and set the desired angle on the base plate with the help of the
angle measuring scale.
 Push the base plate (7) forward again, in the direction of the saw blade.
 Tighten the screws at the bottom oft he device
7.9 Vacuum connection
Insert the dust extractor / blower into the tool connection port (4).
 You may choose whether the splinters shall be blown off the cutting area or sucked off by a
connectable vacuum cleaner.
 Slide the switch (5) to the left to suck the splinters by a vacuum cleaner or slide it to the right to
blow the splinters away
