7. OPERATION

Intended use
This tool is intended for cutting wood, metal and plastics. Not suitable for
professional use.
7.1 Charging procedure
Before first use, the battery set (15) must be loaded.

Only use the provided adaptor (18) to charge the battery set.

Only charge the battery set when the ambient temperature is within 10° - 40° C.


The battery set (15) should under no circumstances be disassembled.

To remove the battery set, press the fastening clip (16) on the top side of the battery set and

extract the battery set (15).
Connect the plug of the charger to the loading-socket (17) of the battery-set.

Red LED will light once the battery has been connected to the charger and the charging

procedure will proceed.
The battery set is completely loaded and ready for use once the green LED is lit and the red

LED is OFF.
Defective or used battery sets must be disposed of in specialised refuse, and must
not be placed in domestic refuse.
7.2 Inserting the saw blade

Only use saw blades that are sharp and clean. Cracked or bent saw blades should not be used.
 Always remove the battery (15) from the unit before changing the saw blade!
 The saw blade is held in place by a quick clamping device (12).
