7. Remove the support blocks and lower the machine to
the shop floor. Test drive the machine to ensure that it
does not move when the traction pedal is in neutral.

Rear Wheel Ballast

The machine conforms to ANSI standard B71.4-2012
standard when 22.6 kg (50 lb) of calcium-chloride ballast is
added to the rear wheel.
Important: If a puncture occurs in a tire containing
calcium chloride, remove the machine from the turf as
quickly as possible. Immediately soak the affected area
with water to prevent possible damage to the turf.

Maintenance

Cooling System Safety

Swallowing engine coolant can cause poisoning;
keep out of reach from children and pets.
Discharge of hot, pressurized coolant or touching a hot
radiator and surrounding parts can cause severe burns.
– Always allow the engine to cool at least 15 minutes
before removing the radiator cap.
– Use a rag when opening the radiator cap, and open
the cap slowly to allow steam to escape.

Checking the Cooling System

Service Interval: Before each use or daily

Clean the radiator hourly if conditions are extremely dusty
and dirty; refer to

The cooling system is filled with a 50/50 solution of water
and permanent ethylene glycol anti-freeze. Check the coolant
level at the beginning of each day before starting the engine.
The capacity of the cooling system is approximately 5.7 L
(6 US qt).
