Clothes dryer installation must be
performed by a qualified installer.

Install the clothes dryer according to
the manufacturer's instructions and
local codes.

Repair and maintenance work
should be performed by a Miele
authorized service technician. Work by
unqualified persons could be
dangerous and could void the warranty.

Before installation, disconnect the
tumble dryer from the electrical supply
by shutting off the power main,
unplugging the power cord or tripping
the circuit breaker. Do not restore
power until the installation is complete.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In
the event of malfunction or breakdown,
grounding will reduce the risk of
electric shock by providing a path of
least resistance for electric current. This
appliance is equipped with a cord
having an equipment grounding
conductor and a grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance
with all local codes and ordinances.
