Safety information General information General safety information The Twister is a pre-assembled component that comes ready to install. It was designed and built in line with carefully chosen harmonised standards that must be observed, as well as further technical specifications. Consequently, it is a state-of-the-art product and provides the best possible level of safety while in operation.
Safety information Intended use • This Twister is only suitable for use in the named vehicle types; it may only be installed in these vehicle types. • The Twister replaces an original seat without a lateral airbag. • The swivel functions are only intended to make vehicle entry and exit easier for people up to a maximum body weight of 160 kg.

Operation OPERATION Safety information Keep the installation and operating instructions together with the vehicle documents. ATTEN- TION! Arrange for any irregularities to be examined by a workshop. Operation Operate the seat as per the information provided by the vehicle manufacturer. The standard functionality of the seat remains fully intact.
Tightening torques The tightening torques as specified by the vehicle manufacturer apply when converting vehicles using Veigel driving aids. Unless otherwise stated in the text, the usual DIN tightening torques provided ATTEN- in the table below apply for Veigel parts. TION!
Assembly Removing the original seat Only trained individuals may make modifications to or work on airbag systems. ATTEN- TION! Add the Twister and installation kit to the vehicle documents in accordance with Section19 Paragraph 2 and Section 21 of the StVZO (Straßenverkehrs-Zulas- sungs-Ordnung, the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations).
Assembly Assembling the Twister Screw the Twister and the braces together. Use the M8x20 fillister-head screws and M8 hexagon nuts to do this. The fastening screws can now be tightened to the vehicle. Make absolutely sure that all the screw connections sit properly and are not under strain.
Assembly Belt connection Assemble the seat belt buckle to the belt connection: Use the original screw to attach the removed seat belt buckle to the holder as shown in the image. Assembly In order to screw the M8 locking nuts onto all the fillister-head screws , the Twister and seat can be moved, i.e. turned in and out. ATTENTION!
Assembly Disassembling the installation kit Disassemble the installation kit by following the assembly steps in reverse order. Mount the seat using the original screws. ATTENTION!
