    Please Note: Only specially trained personnel is allowed to work on airbags. LOCKING TORQUE REQUIREMENTS When mounting Veigel parts to the car, observe the carmaker´s torque re- quirements. When connecting Veigel parts, DIN requirements apply unless HINWEIS otherwise stated in this manual.

    INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENT OF CLASSIC HAND CONTROL The adjustment of the hand control has to be done with utmost care, in order to ensure proper function under all circumstances. ACHTUNG! INSTALLATION OF LATERAL COVER VEIGEL CLASSIC When hand control has been in- stalled and final adjustment has been done, attach lateral cover by means of the pre-pasted Velcro.

    INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENT OF COMPACT HAND CONTROL Adjustment of the linkage has to be done carefully, in order to ensure proper function of the hand control! ACHTUNG! Adjustment must be made with hand control in idle position. The the accelerator lever (see fig.5-15) must be in sternmost position, touching the bearing of the hand control.
  • Page 24 INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENT OF STOP PIN In order to unload the accelerator gaslever linkage, the travel of the accele- rator lever is limited by a Stop adjustment screw pin. To adjust stop pin, pull handle to full throttle (kick-down must be achieved), turn adjusting screw against accelerator lever and secure with counter nut.
  • Page 25 After adjustment, operate brake and accelerator repeatedly and vigorously. This will allow the connectors to settle. Check adjustment afterwards and HINWEIS re-adjust if necessary. INSTALLATION OF LATERAL COVER VEIGEL COMPACT After final adjustment and check, bolt lateral cover to hand control by means of 2 countersunk bolts M5x16.

    • Before transferring, check the unit for wear and tear. If there are damaged or worn out parts, replace them with original parts which can be ordered from Veigel. ACHTUNG! • When ordering parts, please state serial number of the product.
