INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENT OF CLASSIC HAND CONTROL The adjustment of the hand control has to be done with utmost care, in order to ensure proper function under all circumstances. ACHTUNG! ADJUSTMENT OF ACCELERATOR LINKAGE: accelerator rod Turn accelerator handle counter- clockwise as far as possible. INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENT OF COMPACT HAND CONTROL Adjustment of the linkage has to be done carefully, in order to ensure proper function of the hand control! ACHTUNG! Adjustment must be made with hand control in idle position. The the accelerator lever (see fig.5-15) must be in sternmost position, touching the bearing of the hand control. - Page 24 INSTALLATION ADJUSTMENT OF STOP PIN In order to unload the accelerator gaslever linkage, the travel of the accele- rator lever is limited by a Stop adjustment screw pin. To adjust stop pin, pull handle to full throttle (kick-down must be achieved), turn adjusting screw against accelerator lever and secure with counter nut.
