3.9 Bulk Configuration (Available in versions AO12001 and higher)

The Iridium Pilot comes with the Bulk Configuration Tool, which allows Solutions Partners and end users to
configure multiple Iridium Pilot units being deployed across multiple locations.
Bulk configuration provides an easy way to fully configure a Pilot IBSU by applying a configuration defined by
a plain text file. The bulk configuration file format consists of several lines where each line describes a single
configurable element and is of the form:

IP_Address – IP Address
DHCPS_Enabled – Enumeration ("enabled" or "disabled")
Compression_Mask – Integer (in hex format)
Port_Forward_Rule_1 – Record made up of Enumeration ("UDP" or "TCP"), IP Address, Integer, Integer and
Enumeration ("yes" OR "NO").
3.9.1 Bulk Configuration File
The ID is a string that identifies the configurable item to configure and value is the value to apply. The bulk
configuration file supports several types of values: integer, string, enumeration, IP address and record.

Description
An integer value can be in either decimal (e.g. 123) or
hexadecimal (e.g. 0xABC) format.
A sequence of characters possibly surrounded by
double quotes, quotes are required if the string
contains spaces.
One of a fixed number of predefined strings, a
string enumeration value may contain spaces if it is
enclosed in quotes.
Four decimal integers each separated from its
neighbours by a single dot.
An element that is composed of a fixed number
of fields, each field is a value each of which is an
Integer, String, Enumeration or IP Address the order
the values appear is predefined.
