Safety


All packing material, such as tags and packaging locks are not part of this product, and should be discarded for your child's safety.
This product is not intended for use in crib. Do not leave infant unattended with product. NOTE: Please keep this instruction manual as it contains important information.

How To Install Batteries

  • Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
  • Locate the battery cover. Use a coin to loosen the screw.
  • Remove the battery compartment door and the exhausted batteries (if applicable).
  • Install 3 new "AAA" batteries following the diagram inside the battery compartment.
    NOTE: We recommend using Alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
  • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw to secure.

NOTE: When sounds become faint or stop, it is time for an adult to change the batteries.

All servicing of this product must be performed by authorized HoMedics Service Personnel only.

Listening to the Sounds

  • Press the POWER button to turn ON. The white LED power indicator will illuminate.
  • Select the sound you wish to listen to and press the corresponding button.
    NOTE: When the unit is turned on, it will always default to the last sound used.
  • To adjust the volume, press the button or button to your desired level.
  • Press the POWER button to turn OFF.

Using the Auto-Timer

When the power is on and you are listening to a sound you may set a timer so the unit will automatically turn off after 15 minutes.

  • Press timer button . The white LED timer indicator will illuminate.
  • Press timer button again to turn off timer.

Battery Precautions

Overview

  1. Use AAA alkaline batteries only. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  2. Replace all batteries at the same time.
  3. Clean the battery contacts and the contacts of the device prior to battery installation with a dry cloth.
  4. Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ /–).
  5. Remove batteries from the unit when it is not to be used for an extended period of time.
  6. Remove depleted batteries from the unit promptly. Dispose of used batteries safely. Keep all batteries away from children. Batteries are small objects and could be ingested. If swallowed, contact a physician at once. Do not open batteries or dispose of in fire. Do not mix the new and used batteries.

  1. this device may not cause harmful interference, and
  2. this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
