Home Recording Tape
The Home Recording Tape feature works as a manual
COMMERCIAL ADVANCE to advance through a recording
until it detects a break, at which point it begins playback.
This feature works on tapes in Deck One which are
recorded in either SP or SLP speed.
1. When a tape is inserted, press STOP (if necessary) to
halt playback.
2. Press SEARCH to display the VCR's main search menu.
3. In the SEARCH MENU, select 5 to choose the Home
Recording Tape selection.
The VCR begins to search forward for the next break in
the recording (the end of a commercial for example). If
a pause in the recorded action is detected, the VCR cues
the tape at the end of the break and begins playing.
