1. Press MENU to display the VCR's MAIN MENU.
2. Press 4 to display the SETUP menu.
3. Press 2 to display the COPY AND RECORD SETTINGS menu.
COPY AND RECORD SETTINGS
1 : Copy Mode

4 : Deck1 Rec Source

4. Press 3 repeatedly to toggle through the Date/Time
Stamp options:
• Timer the date, time and record source will
appear briefly at the start of all timer recordings.
• Cont (continuous) the date, time, and recording
source will appear continuously throughout all
recordings. The on-screen display and menu systems
will be disabled if this setting is active. Press STOP
on the recording deck to restore normal on-screen
functions.
• All The date, time and record source will appear
briefly at the start of all recordings except copies.
• Off the date and time stamp is disabled.

EZ Copy

EZ-Copy automates the entire copy process so that an
entire tape can be copied at the touch of one button; the
Copy Tape button. The VCR will rewind both decks
completely and copy the source tape to the target tape.
Once finished copying, the VCR will rewind and eject both
tapes.
To Activate EZ-Copy:
1. Press MENU to display the VCR's Main Menu.
2. Press 1 repeatedly to turn EZ-Copy on or off.
• On when Copy Tape is pressed, both decks will
rewind and the tape in Deck1 will be copied to
Deck2. Both tapes will rewind again and be ejected.
Note that if the target tape ends before the source
tape, neither tape will rewind as to let you know
there was a problem in the copy process.
• Off when Copy Tape is pressed, the tape in Deck1
will begin to copy to the tape in Deck2 immediately
from the current position of both decks. To stop
copying, activate Deck2 and press the STOP button.
Neither tape will be rewound or ejected.
