Chapter 4: Using the Options

Your receiver comes with special options to further
personalize your settings.
To review these options:
1. Slide the Mode switch to OPTIONS.
2. Use PREV and/or NEXT to display the options.
3. Use the SCAN buttons to advance choices within a
specific option setting. The receiver will confirm your
choices audibly.

Description of Options

The following is a list of options available, the setting
choices within these options, and an explanation of
each choice.
AUTOPLAY ON
There are four setting choices.
1. AM/L1, PM/L2 (which stands for "In the morning,
PLAYLIST 1,"; "in the evening PLAYLIST 2.")
2. PLAYLIST #1.
3. PLAYLIST #2.
4. MY PROGRAMS.

When turning your receiver ON, the receiver will
automatically play back the list you have selected.
Additionally, your receiver will automatically turn on
and off with your car's ignition, if the receiver is
plugged into your car's cigarette lighter.
BULLETIN
There are three setting choices.
1. Instant Play.
2. More Info.
3. Off.
If you select "Instant Play," the receiver will interrupt
the current program playing to present the latest
bulletin and then return to the program that was
playing. If you choose "More Info," the receiver will
audibly and visually notify you that a bulletin exists,
(the "More Info" light will blink) but it will wait for
you to press the MORE INFO button to present the
bulletin. If you choose "Off," the bulletin will not be
presented, and you will not be notified that one
exists.
