OPERATION Identify where you wish to place the BDXPC803 Repeller Device that will provide you with the best visibility to the animals you wish to deter WARNING: Product is intended for use with animals and should not be installed in a location that could startle a person. -
Page 7: Sprinkler Adjustment
SPRINKLER ADJUSTMENT Your BDXPC803 Deer Repeller comes with a precalibrated sprinkler head. Adjustments are possible to change the distance, range and pattern. • Distance: locate the distance adjustment dial at the top of the sprinkler head (Fig 9). In order to adjust setting, press down on lever as shown and rotate dial to desired setting. - Page 8 BATTERY CARE WARNING: • Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage to the product and surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. After about two weeks the repeller would not detect or sense motion and so would not squirt. The phone number does not work and the web site is not responding.
The Black & Decker BDXPC803 repeller may stop detecting motion and not squirt after two weeks due to the following reasons:
1. Low battery charge – If there has been cloudy or rainy weather, the solar-powered batteries may not have charged enough. Ensure the solar panel is facing the sun to recharge the batteries.
2. Sensor range adjustment set too low – Check and increase the range setting if needed.
3. Sensor not aimed correctly – Adjust the sensor to face the area where animals are entering.
4. Water pressure turned off – Confirm that water supply to the unit is on.
5. Loose or damaged connections – Inspect joints and washers for tightness and integrity. Replace damaged washers if necessary.
