Charging
Before charging, make sure the brush handle is turned off. Insert the plug into the socket and place the handle into the charging cradle. When charging, the charging indicator light lights red on the handle. When fully charged the indicator turns green.
- A full charge lasts for about 24 hours. Full capacity is sufficient for 20 pre-set cycles or approximately 10 days when cleaning teeth twice a day.
- The brush must be charged for 24 hours:
- Before first use
- If it hasn't been used for 3 months
- If the battery is completely empty
- To maintain full capacity, keep the brush in the stand when idle. The stand must be plugged into a wall socket.
- When charging, the brush may become hot.
Instructions for Use
- Attach the brush head to the brush handle. There is a gap of 0.5 mm between the head and handle.
- Press the button to select the cleaning mode. The brush remembers the last mode used, so there is no need to reselect the last mode.
- CLEAN – basic mode for perfectly clean teeth
- SOFT – gentle cleaning for sensitive teeth and gums (also suitable for users not accustomed to sonic cleaning)
- WHITEN – cleaning and polishing for whitening teeth
- MASSAGE – gentle pulse stimulation of gums
- Moisten the head and apply toothpaste.
- Place the bristles on the teeth, towards the gums.
- Turn the brush on using the ON/OFF button.
- Move the bristles back and forth and slowly move between the teeth. Brush whilst gently applying pressure on the tooth.
- For maximum efficiency, divide the cleaning into 4 sections. Clean each section for 30 seconds. After the 30 second cycle, the brush pauses and alerts you to move onto the next section. The brush turns itself off after 2 minutes.
- Remove the head from the handle.
- Rinse the head and body under running water and wipe with a cloth or towel.
- Place the handle back into the cradle.
UV Lamp
The base includes a UV lamp that disinfects the cleaning head after each use. The UV lamp can remove 99.9% of common bacteria such as E. Coli, Salmonella, Candida Albicans and the H. Simplex or H1N1 viruses.
- Only disinfect the original head with the UV lamp.
- The cleaning cycle lasts around 10 minutes and when finished the lamp switches itself off.
- The cycle starts automatically when the sanitizer cover is closed.
- Clean and dry the head.
- Open the UV lamp cover.
- Place the head in the rack with the bristles pointing towards the UV lamp.
- Make sure the charging base is plugged in.
- Close the sanitizer cover and the disinfection process automatically begins.
- The blue illumination of the UV lamp indicates that the lamp is on and the cleaning cycle is in progress. The light might not be noticeable in brightly lit spaces.
- After the cleaning cycle is finished, the lamp automatically turns off and the light goes out.
Maintenance
Before cleaning, make sure the device is not plugged in.
