remove the menus from the screen
and start over again.

Menu Icons
The menu icons that appear on the left side of every menu screen let you move
from menu to menu easily.
To enter a menu:
1. Press MENU to bring up the TV's IMAGE & SOUND menu.
2. Point to a menu icon using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.
Enter the menu you want by pressing OK.
3. To exit any menu screen, press MENU.
Image & Sound Menu
The IMAGE & SOUND menu lets you adjust the TV's picture and sound settings
to match your preference. Use the up and down arrows to move the cursor.
Press OK to select a menu item. Use the left and right arrow buttons to adjust an
item's setting.
ORIGINAL IMAGE Returns the picture settings to their factory defaults.
– BRIGHT. Sets the picture to a darker overall level.
+ BRIGHT. Sets the picture to a brighter overall level.
PERSONAL Adjusts the picture to your customized PERSONAL settings, which
you can define in the IMAGE ADJUST menu described below.
IMAGE ADJUST Lets you create a custom picture setting, which you save as
your PERSONAL setting. The IMAGE ADJUST menu appears when you select

IMAGE ADJUST in the IMAGE & SOUND menu.

Use the up and down arrow buttons to place the cursor next the menu item you
want to adjust. Select that item by pressing OK. Then, use the left and right
arrows to adjust the value of the setting. Press OK to return to the IMAGE
ADJUST menu.
CONTRAST Adjusts the difference between light and dark areas of the
picture.
COLOR Adjusts the richness of the color.
BRIGHT. Adjusts the brightness of the picture.
SHARPNESS Adjusts the crispness of edges in the picture.
TINT (only available for NTSC systems) Adjusts the balance of red and
green in the picture.
NOISE FILTER Choose this item to reduce the amount of interference (or
"snow") in the picture for weak or distorted signals.
