You can use Ethernet or Wi-Fi to connect WiiM Pro to your network. Before the setup, please download the WiiM Home App. If you want to use the Wi-Fi to connect to WiiM Pro, please have your network password ready. -

Home devices via Wi-Fi. 5.4 USE 12 V TRIGGER OUT WiiM Pro will raise the voltage on the 12v trigger rail when the music starts to play. It will lower the trigger’s voltage two and a half minutes after stopping playback. Whether the connected amplifier acts on this immediately or has its own timeout to be enacted is down to the manufacturer and may vary. -

Page 16: Direct Control Via Your Favorite App
Depending on your mobile devices and music service, there may be multiple ways to stream from your music app to WiiM devices. I.e., if you use Spotify App on iOS device, you can use either Spotify Connect or AirPlay 2. However, Spotify Connect gives you better audio quality compared with AirPlay 2 and liberate your phone for other tasks. -

TIP: Download Amazon Alexa App and get ready with Echo or other Amazon devices. For detailed steps please refer to 6.1. Since the WiiM Pro is an Alexa Cast audio receiver, not a transmitter, it can’t transmit the Line-in or Optical-in audio to other Alexa-enabled devices such as Echo. -

Once completed, the music from the device plugged into the WiiM Pro will play to your multiroom music group. You can do the same for the SPDIF input port of WiiM Pro if your source device has the digital audio output via SPDIF. -

TV, and laptop computers. Before streaming music from a device, you must pair your mobile device to the WiiM Pro. You can put the WiiM Pro into the pairing mode by pressing and holding the volume '+' and '-‘ buttons together for 2 seconds. -

Ethernet only. You can check which network connection is used from the WiiM Home App > Browse Tab > Scroll down to the bottom, and check the select audio source section. You’ll see the Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi when an Ethernet connection is used. -

Press and hold the play/pause for 10s. Afterwards, you will hear the voice tone and see the light flashing red and white. Factory reset clears all source, volume, and network settings for WiiM Pro and returns it back to the original factory settings. -
