: When setting the time for
"enriched rice"
Press the MIX RICE button instead of the button in
an example 1.
The TIMER and the MIX RICE indicators will light up.
NOTICE
• Press the CANCEL button to cancel the set time or when there is malfunction.
Regarding the adjustable time and menu
• When setting the time, set the time of boiled rice as the following table. When the present time is count down,
the cooking will start.

Regarding the buttons and the display
• Each press of the button changes the time in ten-minute step.
• If holding down the Hrs and the Min buttons, the time will go forward faster and if the TIMER button is pressed
continually, the display of A.M. and P.M. will be switched to each other.
• When the cooking starts, the TIMER indicator will light o and only the indicators of the selected program light
up. When the function switches to steaming, the indicator will ash instead. Without setting the cooking time,
the time of ashing may be longer than the cooking time, sometimes.
• The display window will display the preset timer until the cooking is done. Though in the steaming mode, the
left time will not display.
• In case it takes longer for the rice to be boiled, the left time will display.
Regarding the notice by the beep signal
• If the COOK button has not yet pressed, the " beep beep beep beep" sound will be heard.
Press the COOK button to nish the preset timer
• While the Hrs button is on: At 0.00 a.m. the "beep" sound is heard. And at 0.00 p.m. the "beep beep" sound is
heard.
While the Min button is on: The "beep" sound is heard at 00 min and the "beep" sound is heard every 10 min.
• During the time setting, the sound may not be heard because the time is swiftly shifted. Please press for check
once a round.
• While setting the clock, the window will display the current time and will notice with sound the range of time
until the rice cooking nishes. In case that the time of cooking is lower than 1 hrs, the notice sound will be
heard at 1 hour.
Please see the following example as the notice signal from the cooker.
(Example) Supposing that the left of the cooking time is 11.12 hrs, the sound will be heard at 12 hrs.
