8.2 Cleaning the filter element
Clean the filter element at regular intervals, and
n
replace it when necessary.
Release the filter housing (6) by turning it counter-
n
clockwise and remove the filter element (7).
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or petrol to
n
clean the filter element.
Clean the filter element by tapping it out on a flat
n
surface. In cases of stubborn dirt first clean with
soapy water, then rinse with clear water and leave
to dry in the air. Assemble in reverse order.
When assembling the filter, make sure that the
n
sealing ring is inserted.

9. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories out of children's
reach in a dark and dry place at above freezing
temperature. The ideal storage temperature is
between 5 and 30 °C. Store the electric tool in its
original packaging.
If the pump is not going to be used for a long time
n
or has to be removed for the winter months, rinse
it out with water, empty it completely and allow it
to dry.
The equipment must be completely drained
n
before it is subjected to frost.
After long stoppages, make sure the rotor turns
n
correctly by briefly switching the pump on and off.

10. Disposal and recycling

The unit is supplied in packaging to prevent its being
damaged in transit. This packaging is raw material
and can therefore be reused or can be returned to the
raw material system.
The unit and its accessories are made of various
types of material, such as metal and plastic. Defective
components must be disposed of as special waste.
Ask your dealer or your local council.
