*) The filter stepping interval must be an integer multiple of the length of the sampling interval
(length of the cycle). This ensures that the clock switch signal arises simultaneously with the
beginning of a new interval.
The graphic below points out the meaning of the clock switch setup timing parameters if used as
periodical timer. The beginning of the clock switch's first interval is synchronised with the start of a
measurement.
