Camera and microphone module

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Generic Safety and Compliance Notices, and print the following instructions.
Before you open the back bump cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
For access, remove the following parts in order:
• "Computer stand" on page 57.
• "Back bump cover" on page 60.
• "System board shield" on page 61.
• "VESA mount bracket" on page 62.
Removal steps
Note: Some computer models might not be shipped with an integrated camera. In this case, remove the
dummy camera cover first if you want to install new camera.
CAUTION:
Do not pull out the integrated camera and microphone module cable with force; otherwise, the cable
may be damaged.
