Using the menus
Menu types
The player has two menu types:
Home menu
The player menu appears when you turn on the player or if you press and hold MENU while listening to the
player. It lets you:
•
Browse for and play music, video, photo and ebook files
•
Record audio
•
Listen to the radio
•
Change the player's settings – language, time setting, etc.
Option menu
The option menu appears if you press MENU at the playback screen while listening to music. It provides
different options depending on what you are listening to when you press MENU.

When a menu is displayed:
•
Press
or
to scroll up and down the list of menu items.
Press MENU to select a menu item.
•
Press and hold MENU to return to the previous menu.
•
If the highlighted item is playable (for example, an audio file), press MENU to start playback.
