Using the menus

Menu types

The player has two menu types:
Home menu
The player menu appears when you turn on the player or if you press and hold M while listening to the
player. It lets you:
• Browse for and play music, video, photo and ebook files
• Record audio
• Listen to the radio
• Change the player's settings – language, time setting, etc.
Option menu
The option menu appears if you press M at the playback screen while listening to music. It provides different
options depending on what you are listening to when you press M.

Menu navigation

When a menu is displayed:
• Press or to scroll up and down the list of menu items.
• Press M to select a menu item.
• Press and hold M to return to the previous menu.
• If the highlighted item is playable (for example, an audio file), press M to start playback.
