2/ INTENDED USE The Panther is designed to perform ultrasonic nondestructive inspections of industrial and commercial materials. Do not use the Panther for any purpose other than its intended use. - Page 8 8/ COMPUTER SETTINGS The computer can be used with a USB3 connection. It can also be used with a 10-Gbit Ethernet connection. To set up your computer, follow the procedure (‘Ethernet 10-Gbit Configuration_Axx.pdf’, on https://www.eddyfi.com/en/acquire) 9/ OPTIC FIBER CLEANING For optimum performance of the optic fiber cable, care must be taken with the cleaning of the connectors.

11/ ACQUIRE QUICK START CONFIGURATION PANEL The configuration panel allows to setup a configuration (conventional PE, TOFD, Phased Array, TFM…). It is based on the CIVA simulation software, the full CIVA manual can be accessed by pressing F1. The configuration should be entered as carefully as possible as most of the imaging system of Acquire is using the CIVA configuration. -

11/ ACQUIRE QUICK START PARAMETERS PANEL The Parameters panel allows to setup an ultrasonic configuration (Voltage, Pulse Width, PRF, Sampling frequency, Gain, gates, TCG, Encoders, trajectories, Filters…) and visualize signals before acquisition. 11/ ACQUIRE QUICK START ACQUISITION PANEL When the Acquisition button turns from Red to Green, the Acquisition window can be accessed. If the Acquisition button is Red, clicking on it will open the System performance panel. This panel shows why acquisition can not be performed (no active gate, too high acquisition speed…).
