8. TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem
Failure when cutting the trunk
The blade moves abruptly, makes
strange noises, vibrates a lot, or
does not come back into place
Oil leaks around the cylinder
Cause
The trunk is not properly placed
The size or hardness of the trunk
excedes the machine's capacity
There is an oil leak
An unauthorized adjustment on the
limitation screw of the maximum
pressure was made
Lack of hydraulic oil, and excess of
air in the system.
Pressured air in the hydraulic
system during use
The bleed screw has not been
tightened before moving the
appliance
The oil drainage screw is not
properly tightened
The hydraulic control valve and/or
the joints are worn

Solution
Read the "Use" section to install
the trunk in an adequate
manner
Reduce the size of the trunks
before dividing them with the
bandsaw
Localize the leak and go to your
service technician
Contact your service technician
Check to oil level to refill it if need
be.
Contact your service technician
Loosen the bleed screw nut by
turning it 3 or 4 times
Tighten the bleed screw before
moving the machine.
Tighten the screw
Contact your service technician
