Front Wheel Removal
1. Raise the front wheel off
the ground
by placing
a
support block
under the
engine.
2.
Remove
the
cotter pin
CD
and dis-
connect the
front brake cable
®
from
the
front
brake arm
®
.
Loosen the
front
brake cable adjusting nut
®
and
back the front brake lock
nut
@
all
the way off the threaded
cable
housing·
®.
·Remove the front brake
cable
from the backing plate.
3.
Remove
the
speedometer
cable set
screw
and disconnect the
speedometer
cable

Unlock
the lock
washer
®
and
remove
the front
brake
stopper
arm bolt
®
at
the backing
plate.
5.
Remove the
front
axle holder nuts
@
(two
on
each
side),
and remove the
front
axle holders
(one
on each side).
Remove the
front
wheel.
6. To install the front wheel assembly,
reverse
the
removal procedure.
Be
sure to tighten the front brake stop-
per arm bolt
®
to 300-400 kg-cm
(22-28 1
bs.
ft.) and
lock the lock
washer
®
