Issue
Special salt refill indicator lights up. Sensor does not detect special salt tablets.
Refill indicator for special salt does
not light up.
Refill indicator for rinse aid lights
up.
Refill indicator for rinse aid does
not light up.
All LEDs light up or flash.
UP appears on the display.
Water is left in the appliance at the
end of the program.
Appliance cannot be switched on
or operated.
Appliance does not start.
Cause and troubleshooting
Do not use special salt tablets.
Water softening system is switched off.
Set the water softening system.

No rinse aid.
Add Rinse aid →  Page 16 .

Set the amount of rinse aid to be dispensed.

Rinse aid system is switched off.
Set the amount of rinse aid.

Electronics have detected a fault.
Press the main switch button for approx. 4 seconds.

The appliance is reset and restarted.
If the problem occurs again:

Switch off the appliance.
Unplug the power plug or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box.
Wait at least 2 minutes.
Switch on the circuit breaker in the fuse box or plug in the power plug.
Switch on the appliance.
If the problem occurs again:

Contact customer service.

A software update is available.
Press the remote start button to install the software update.
a After a successful software update, "Suc" appears on the display for a few
seconds.
Filter system or area under the filters is blocked.
Clean the Filters →  Page 25 .

Program has not yet ended.
Wait until the program ends or terminate the program with Reset.

Software update is taking place.
Wait until the software update has finished.
Appliance functions have failed.
Pull out the power cord plug or switch off the breaker.

Wait at least 2 minutes.

Connect the appliance to the power supply.

Switch the appliance on.

The breaker has tripped.
Check the relevant breaker.
Power cord is not inserted.
Check whether the power outlet is working.

Check whether the power cord plug is properly inserted in the power outlet and

Appliance door is not closed properly.
