Instant messaging settings
You may receive the settings as a configuration message from the
service provider. See Configuration settings service on page 13. To key in
the settings manually, see Configuration settings on page 70. For
instant messaging and presence settings, contact your service provider.

E-mail application

The e-mail application allows you to access the compatible e-mail
account that you use in the office or at home, via the phone (network
service). You can write, send, and read e-mail with your phone. Your
phone supports POP3 and IMAP4 e-mail servers.
The e-mail application uses shared memory, see Shared memory on
page 11.
Before you can send and retrieve any e-mail, you may need to do the
following:
• Obtain a new e-mail account or use the current one. For availability
of your e-mail account contact your e-mail service provider.
• For the settings required for the e-mail application, contact your e-
mail service provider. To receive the e-mail settings as a
configuration message, see Configuration settings service on
page 13.
• To set the e-mail settings on your phone, press
Messages,
