Instructions for Use
Combo Cooking
When using the appliance in combo mode, when the Steam cycle is finished, the
appliance should beep five times to indicate that the water should be emptied before the
appliance automatically starts the air frying cooking cycle.
Shaking
To ensure even cooking, some foods require shaking during the cooking process. At
the halfway point in the cycle, remove the Basket from the appliance. Gently shake the
contents as needed and place them back in the appliance to continue cooking.
CAUTION:
1.
Place the Basket on a heat-resistant surface
2.
Shake the ingredients in the Basket.
3.
Return the Basket to the appliance to finish cooking.
Tips
When starting with a cold appliance, add 3 minutes to the cooking time to allow the
appliance to preheat.
Foods that are smaller in size usually require a slightly shorter cooking time than larger
ones.
Shaking, flipping, or turning foods halfway through the cooking process ensures that
all the pieces are evenly fried. Set the timer to half the time needed for the recipe and
the timer bell will alert you when it is time to shake, flip, or rotate food. Afterward, set the
cooking timer to half the time needed for the recipe again.
Misting a bit of vegetable oil on breaded food is suggested for a crispier result. When
adding oil, add only a little just before cooking.
Snacks normally cooked in an oven can also be cooked in the appliance.
Use premade dough to prepare filled snacks quickly and easily. Premade dough also
requires a shorter cooking time than homemade dough.
A baking pan or oven dish can be placed on the Fry Tray inside the appliance when
cooking foods such as cakes or quiches. Using a tin or dish is also recommended when
cooking fragile or filled foods.
You can use the appliance to reheat foods. Simply set the temperature and time to
however warm you want your food.
