Slide the shield's slot onto the mounting bracket. Rotate
the shield onto the shaft. Push square bolt through shield
and bracket. Tighten washer and wing nut onto bolt.

Read and understand all instruction, warning and danger labels on the unit.

Slide the shield onto the shield mount.
Place hex lock nuts into the 3 holes.
Insert screws from the bottom. Tighten.
Press primer bulb 10 times.
Move choke lever to
Position 2.
Push 6-7" ends into
® 0.080" holding slots.
back 6-7".

Straight Shaft
Put handle on shaft so that it
tips toward engine. Move handle
6 inches away from shaft grip.
Insert bolt. Tighten washer and
wing nut onto bolt.
Put choke lever in Crouch in starting
Position 1. position.
Pull the rope until engine Move choke lever
starts. Run engine for 30 to Position 3.
to 60 seconds to warm up.

Insert 10' of 0.080" SplitLine
Unscrew Bump Knob™
counterclockwise.Remove hole in top of reel. Pull most of line
inner reel and spring. through hole until 3-4" remains.
Insert lines through eyelets in spool.
Insert spring and reel into spool.

Mix thoroughly in a separate fuel can:
– 3.2 oz of 2-cycle engine oil
– 1 gallon of unleaded gasoline
Place the unit on a level surface. Fill fuel tank.
NOTE: Do not mix directly in the engine fuel tank.
SQUEEZE and HOLD throttle Pull the rope
control for ALL further steps. 5 times.
Continue squeezing the
throttle control and run engine
for additional 60 seconds to
complete warm up.

through Bend short end and push it
