(2) In case of the upper screen size is large bottom screen

2) Adjustment Method:
Put up the front part of Engine Base (increase the
bottom size of screen putting downward the projection
lens) to adjust upper and bottom size of screen.
(3) In case of the upper screen size is small bottom screen
size than: upward projector
1) Distortion Type: Keystone
2) Adjustment Method:
Put down the front part of Engine Base (increase the
upper size of screen putting upward the projection lens)
to adjust upper and bottom size of screen.
11. Screen Position Adjustment
11-1. Required Test Equipment
: Adjust Remote Control (P/N : 105-201M)
112. Horizontal Position Adjustment
(1) Press the ADJ key on the remote control to enter the
adjustment mode.
(2) Select POSITION in the adjustment menu.
(3) The adjustment pattern below appears.<Fig.26>

(4) Select the H_position using CHANNEL key.
(5) Change data by using the VOLUME keys on the remote
control in order to adjust left/right screen semmetry.
(6) If symptom is out of adjustable range: Check the light
engine adjustment
11-3. Vertical Position Adjustment
(1) Select V_position using CHANNEL key. (Initial V: 0)
(2) Change data with using the VOLUME keys on the remote
control in order to adjust up/down screen semmetry.
(3) If symptom is out of adjustable range: Check the light
engine adjustment.
12. Component/RGB Adjustment
ADC Offset Adjustment
12-1. Required Test Equipment
: Service Remote Control, 801GF/802F pattern generator,
MSPG-925FA/ MSPG01025 (programmable video signal
generator)

12-2. 480i Component 1 Adjustment
(1) Preparation for Adjustment
1) Connect power and turn TV set on.
2) Perform Heat-Run for at least 5 minutes.
3) Enter the Component 1 mode.
4) Receive a 100% Horizontal Color Bar Pattern
(HozTV30Bar) at 480i Mode.
(2) Offset/Gain Adjustment
1) Press ADJ key on the Remote Control to enter the
adjustment mode.
2) Adjustment is automatic by pressing the VOLUME+ (
button in "4.ADC 480i Comp2" item of the adjustment
menu.
3) After adjustment, "ADC Component1 Success" appears
and press the ADJ button to exit.
12-3. 1080i Component/RGB-DTV Adjustment
(1) Preparation for Adjustment
1) Connect power and turn TV set on.
2) Perform Heat-Run for at least 5 minutes.
3) Enter the Component 2 mode.
4) Receive a 100% Horizontal Color Bar Pattern
(HozTV31Bar) at 1080i Mode.
