15. Front Rail Assembly
(Time required: About 8 minutes)
15-1 Remove the top board assembly. (See procedure 1)
15-2 Remove the PS unit cover assembly and the MAL cover.
(See procedure 2) (U model only)
15-3 Remove the key cover assembly. (See procedure 5)
15-4 Remove the rack L and R. (See procedure 6)
15-5 Remove the stopper rail assembly. (See procedure 7)
15-6 Remove the key block assembly L and R.
(See procedure 8)
15-7 Remove the keyboard assembly. (See procedure 9)
15-8 Remove the two (2) screws marked [S03] each from
both sides of the assembly. (Photo 5, 6)
15-9 Remove the nine (9) screws marked [S15C]. The front
rail assembly can then be removed. (Fig. 9)
16. Side Arm Assembly (L, R)
(Time required: About 8 minutes each)
16-1 Remove the top board assembly. (See procedure 1)
16-2 Remove the PS unit cover assembly and the MAL cover.
(See procedure 2) (U model only)
16-3 Remove the key cover assembly. (See procedure 5)
16-4 Remove the rack L and R. (See procedure 6)
16-5 Remove the stopper rail assembly. (See procedure 7)
16-6 Remove the key block assembly L and R.
(See procedure 8)
16-7 Remove the keyboard assembly. (See procedure 9)
16-8 Remove the main unit. (See procedure 1)
(Parts removed in Steps 16-1 through 16-7 are
component parts of the main unit.)
16-9 Remove the two (2) screws marked [S03] and the two
(2) screws marked [S15A]. (Photo 4, 5, 6)
16-10 Remove the two (2) screws marked [S15D]. The side
arm assembly L can then be removed. (Fig. 9)
* The side arm assembly R can then be removed in the
same manner.
