The units will charge slower when receiving indirect sunlight. When the speaker is fully charged, the LED will be off, even if it is left in the sunlight. If there is too much bass: Try adjusting the tone or EQ control on your sound source or on Geode Rock Speakers via the ION Sound Control App to lower the bass level. This will allow you to play the music louder before clipping (distortion) occurs. -
