To check and change the battery in the ION Explorer Outback speaker:
1. Remove the back cover of the speaker.
2. Locate the battery inside.
3. You may need to bend or tap the battery slightly to loosen it.
4. Once loose, pull the battery out.
5. The battery is a 12-volt, 7-amp-hour unit.
6. Replace it with a new 12V 7Ah battery.
7. Insert the new battery and reattach the back cover.
