TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The air conditioner
does not start
Runs for a short time
then stops
The air conditioner
starts but doesn't cool

No electricity
Batteries in remote control need to be
replaced
The power cord is not plugged in properly
The LCDI on the power cord has tripped
The temperature setting is too close to the

The air outlet is blocked
The exhaust hose has sharp bends or sags
A door or window is open
The filters are dirty
The exhaust hose is not connected
The temperature setting is too high
The air oulet or air intake is blocked
The room exceeds the recommended size
Direct sunlight decreasing cooling effect
Excess water condensation is inside the
tank.

CORRECTION
Check power source
Replace batteries
Remove and reconnect power cord
Reset the LCDI
Lower the temperature setting
Remove the blockage
Straighten the hose
Close doors and windows
Clean the filters
Attach the exhaust hose
Lower the temperature setting
Remove blockage
Move the unit to a smaller room
Cover windows with curtains or blinds
Drain the tank.
