SELECTING A SUITABLE LOCATION
See Figures 16 - 19.
Use the following guidelines to select a location for
the unit:
l The air conditioner must be operated within 64°F (18°C)
and 95°F (35°C).
l Do not operate the air conditioner in a humid
environment.
l This air conditioner is intended for residential use only
and should be operated indoors.
l Do not place the appliance flush against a wall. For
optimal performance, there should be at least 18 inches
around and above the unit.
l Do not operate this appliance near heat sources such
as stoves, heat registers, radiators, or other devices
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
