Operation

Switching the fan on and off

Switch the fan on as soon as you start
cooking. This is to ensure that vapours
are captured right from the start.
Select power levels 1 and 2 for light to
heavy cooking vapours, odours or heat-
ing.
Increase the power level as the level of
vapours, odours or heat increases.
For short periods of cooking food with
intensive vapours, odours or heat, e.g.
when searing meat, select Booster level
B.
 Switch the fan on by pressing con-
trols 1, 2 or B.
Switching back the Booster
level
In Booster level B, the fan power is re-
duced automatically after 5 minutes.

Run-on time

 It is advisable to run the fan for a few
minutes after cooking has finished.
This helps to remove any lingering va-
pours and odours from the air.
It also reduces the risk of residues ac-
cumulating in the cooker hood and any
resultant odours.

Switching the fan off

 Use the  control to switch the fan
off.
