Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this Panasonic product.

  • Please read these instructions carefully before using this product, and save this manual for future use.
  • Using the tripod mount enables you to attach the wearable camera to a tripod, etc.
  • The Wearable camera is sold separately.

  • Do not attach any product other than a Panasonic wearable camera.
  • When the tripod mount is attached to a tripod or similar item, do not hold the wearable camera or adjustment belt to carry the assembled items.
  • When attaching or removing the wearable camera, do not touch its lens or pull the camera/main unit connection cable and other cables.
  • When using the tripod mount, take care so that the camera/main unit connection cable and other cables of the wearable camera do not get tangled up.
  • When the adjustment belt becomes too loose to hold the wearable camera in position, stop the use of the tripod mount.
  • If the tripod mount will not be used for an extended period of time, remove it from a tripod, etc. before storing.

Attaching the tripod mount to a tripod, etc.

The tripod mounting hole of the tripod mount is compatible with the screw (1/4-20 UNC) of a tripod, etc.

• If you attach a screw with a length of 6 mm (0.24 q) or more to a Tripod Mount, it may wobble.
Product Description

Attaching the camera to the tripod mount

  1. While holding , loosen the adjustment belt until the camera can be passed through it by rotating the tightening nut towards UNLOCK.
  2. Pass the camera through the adjustment belt so that the camera is in the position shown in the figure.
  3. While holding , tighten the adjustment belt by rotating the tightening nut towards LOCK until the camera is fastened securely.
  • Adjust the adjustment belt with hands. Do not apply too much force.
  • Do not rotate the tightening nut more than necessary after fastening the camera.
  • Check the direction of the camera after attaching it.
  • To correct the left/right tilt of the camera, loosen the adjustment belt.

Removing the camera from the tripod mount

While holding , loosen the tightening nut by rotating it towards UNLOCK, and remove the camera.

Notes for Using the Tripod Mount

  • Do not attach the tripod mount to a location where the tripod mount ends up restricting your body movements. Doing so may cause accidents and injuries. Check if your body can move freely after attaching it.
  • Do not disassemble or modify. Doing so may cause trouble, such as the wearable camera and other parts falling off.
  • Attach correctly as per these operating instructions.
  • Check how securely the tripod mount and wearable camera are attached on a regular basis. Failure to do so may cause accidents and injuries, such as the tripod mount or wearable camera coming off or falling off during use. Check if the tripod mount and wearable camera have not become loose.
