DVI-D Port (Note 1) The DVI-D port conforms to the DVI-D specification and supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 (the actual resolutions supported depend on the monitor being used). Connect a monitor that supports DVI-D connection to this port. Optical S/PDIF Out Connector This connector provides digital audio out to an external audio system that supports digital optical audio.

5) SATA3 0/1/2/3/4/5 (SATA 6Gb/s Connectors) The SATA connectors conform to SATA 6Gb/s standard and are compatible with SATA 3Gb/s and SATA 1.5Gb/s standard. Each SATA connector supports a single SATA device. The Intel Q87 Chipset supports ® RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 10. Chapter 2 BIOS Setup BIOS (Basic Input and Output System) records hardware parameters of the system in the CMOS on the moth- erboard. The USB 3.0 ports are routed to the EHCI controller and the xHCI controller is turned Disabled off.
