Expanding Philips Hue

You can expand your Philips Hue with up to 50 lights on one bridge.
In this section, you'll learn how to add lights so that you can control all
of the lighting in your home from your device.

Adding lights

You can add lights to your bridge manually or automatically. In this
section you'll learn how to do both.

To add lights manually:

1. Locate the serial number on the base of the light.
2. From the app menu, tap Settings.
3. From the settings menu, tap My lights.
4. Tap Connect new lights.
5. Tap Manual search.
6. Tap Add a serial number.
7. Enter the serial number from the base of the light.
8. Replace the existing light with the Philips Hue light.
9. Tap Search.
Notice that the new light is now included in the list of lights.
