Using Philips Hue

Once you have connected the hardware and installed the software,
you can begin using your Philips Hue to create the perfect lighting
conditions for your home.
In this section you'll learn how to operate the lights, create light
scenes, set timers and alarms, and control the lights with Siri
voice commands.

Operating the lights

Now that your Philips Hue is set up, you can operate your lights from
anywhere using your device.
In this section you'll learn how to turn the lights on and off, and adjust
the light colours.

To turn the lights on:

1. From the app menu, tap Lights.
Notice the lights screen opens with a list of available Hue lights as
shown in Figure 3 (p. 8).
2. Locate the circle below the light you'd like to turn on and slide
the circle across the bar.
