XC-1A Hardware Manual (1.2)
1 Introduction
The XC-1A is a card-sized development board based on the XMOS XS1-G4 event-driven
processor device. It comprises a single XS1-G4, 16 user-configurable LEDs, four push-
buttons, a speaker, JTAG and serial interfaces, four expansion areas suitable for IDC
headers and a through-hole prototyping area for connecting external components.
The diagram below shows the layout of the main components on the card:

The XC-1A Development Kit also includes a USB cable for powering and booting
the device from a PC. The card is fitted with four plastic feet, which are useful for
building bigger prototyping systems.
