Never use this machine if any part of the machine is
damaged.
Never operate the machine with defective guards, or
without safety devices.
Do not modify the controls of the machine or the
speed engine regulators.
Remove all tools from the working area before starting
the machine. Any tools left in the working area can be
touched by any moving part of the machine and be
hurled causing personal damages.
Do not overstretch. Maintain your feet well placed
on the floor and maintain a good equilibrium at
all timesand use the machine only when standing
on a flat, levelled and firm surface. Slippery and
unstable surfaces such as stairs can cause a loss of
equilibrium and loss of control of the machine.
Keep all parts of body away from the cutting parts and
other moving parts when the machine is running.
Before start up, make sure that the cutting element
is not in contact with any object. One small lapse in
attention can cause your clothes or any body part to
be caught by the cutting device.
Hold the machine always with your right hand on the
back handle and your left hand on the front handle.
Holding the machine with your hands switched,
increases the risk of corporal damage and should
never be done.
If you are a novice user, we recommend you have a
minimum practice on a flat surface
If the machine vibrates abnormally, stop the engine
and inspect the machine looking for the possible
cause and repair it. If you do not find the motive, take
the machine to your nearest after sales dealer.
Before leaving the machine unattended, switch the
machine off, allow the cutting elements come to a
complete standstill and switch off from the mains.
Always carry the machine with the motor off, with the
machine hanging from the front handle and use the
blade guard installed keeping the machine always
high so it does not touch the ground.
Do not try to remove cuttings from the work area or
from the blade when the machine is in movement.
Make sure the machine has stopped completely
before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning work
on the machine and the working area.
Do not handle the machine by the cutting device. The
cutting device has sharp edges that can hurt yourself.
Store in a place out of reach of children.
2.2.1. CLOTHING AND SECURITY APPAREL
Dress adequately. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Maintain your hair, your clothing and gloves
well clear of any moving parts. Loose clothing,
jewellery or long hair can get tangled on the moving
parts.
Do not use the machine barefoot or wearing sandals.
Always use resistant shoes and long trousers.
When using this machine make use of the following
equipment:
• Security glasses or protective mask.
• Ear protection.
• Working gloves.
