Cause
The tools are worn or damaged.
The bearing is damaged.
Incorrect tension of the drive belt.
The motor is damaged.
The tool drum is set to too much operation
depth.
The tools are worn or damaged.
The type of tools is incorrect for the surface.
23. Set the switch for direction of rotation of the control
panel to clockwise (CW).
WARNING:
counterclockwise direction of rotation when
you use the product as a scarifier.
Solution
Replace parts that are worn or damaged.
Do a check of the bearing on the axle drive
shaft and replace if it is necessary.
Do a check of the drive belt tension. Refer
To do a check of the drive belt tension on

page 22 .
Replace the motor.
Decrease the operation depth.
Replace the worn parts.
Replace the tools with correct tools for the
surface.
