3. Replacement of the SY-247 board
This replacement is applied only for the HDW-700
with serial No. 10001 to 10025 or 90001 to 90004.
Replace the SY-247 board with the new one of the kit
after removing the inside panel.

Remove the CN-1457 board, and replace the
installed SY-247 board (suffix=A) with the new
one(suffix=B) of the kit.
For details, refer to Maintenance Manual Part1 2-4.

Install the CN-1457 board as it was before.

Install the inside panel as it was before.
4. Installation of the DC-DC converter
assembly
Install the DC-DC converter assembly according to the
following procedure.
For HDW-700 with serial No. 10001 to 10055 or
90001 to 90004
Use the new DC-DC converter assembly of the kit.
For HDW-700 with serial No. 10056 or higher
(excluding 90001 to 90004) and HDW-700A with
serial No. 10001 or higher
Reuse the removed DC-DC converter assembly.

Connect the harness (CCM) to the CN4 connector
of the RE-140 board and the CN2 connector of the
CCM-33B board.

Pass the FL-260 flexible board between the shield
case and shield plate of the DC-DC converter
assembly.
