Sartolab RF 150 – 2000 Vacuum Filtration Units

Sartolab BT 150 – 1000 Bottle Top Filters

Stand-Alone Filtration
1. Unpack the filtration device.
For bottle top filters (Sartolab
®
BT), screw the funnel onto a
bottle with a 45 mm neck.
Unpack the tube connector
and attach it to the yellow
vacuum adapter. Connect
the tube connector to the
vacuum tube of the vacuum
source.
4. To end filtration, turn off
the vacuum source and
detach the tubing from
the connector.

2. Remove the lid and pour the
sample into the funnel.
5. To detach the bottle, grasp
the funnel at the top and
unscrew it, along with the
yellow adapter, then lift it off
the bottle.
Discard the funnel and the lid
in accordance with your local
legal regulations for waste
disposal.

3. Place the lid back on.
Apply vacuum to start
filtration.
6. For vacuum filtration units
(Sartolab RF), unpack the
®
sterile screw cap and securely
close the bottle for storage.
For bottle top filters
( Sartolab BT), close the
®
bottle with an appropriate
screw cap.
