Test for the cable connection S-Print to L-Print
What is to be tested
Connection S-print to L-print
Visual inspection

What to adjust
Disconnect mains plug.
Disconnect plugs from L-print and
S-print.
Check on the upper side of the plugs
with a circuit tester or ohmmeter, that
each wire is continuous.
Test every wire as described above.
Normal condition
Inspect the cable for damage, short
circuits, interruption. Plugs and
sockets must be inspected for dama-
ge and loose contacts.
Every wire separately:
Wire ok:
0 Ohm on multi-meter; Signal noise
with a circuit tester.
Wire defective:
• Ohm on multi-meter; No signal
noise with a circuit tester (circuit
interruption).
Every wire against all the other wires:
Wire ok:
• Ohm on multi-meter; No signal
noise with a circuit tester.
Wire defective:
0 Ohm on a multi-meter; Signal noise
with a circuit tester (short circuit, or
pinched wire).
