    • for the Valve Box V3, open the drain cap and drain the supply pipe. As long as the pipes coming from the Valve Box V3 outlets are drained via a drain valve (e. g. in the GARDENA pop­up sprinklers) which is not attached at a higher point than the irrigation valve, the irrigation valves can be left mounted in the valve box.
