ADJUSTING HEADREST/BACK
UPHOLSTERY TENSION (FIGURE 5)
1. Rotate the spreader bar either:
A. COUNTERCLOCKWISE (away from back up-

holstery) to LOOSEN back/headrest upholstery

B. CLOCKWISE (towards back upholstery) to
C
TIGHTEN back/headrest upholstery

UPHOLSTERY TENSION
ADJUSTING THE SEAT WIDTH AND
DEPTH
The seat depth and width directly relates to the
stability of the recliner. Any change may cause
the recliner to decrease in stability. This procedure
MUST be performed by a qualified technician.
STORING/REPLACING THE
SPREADER BAR
Storing (FIGURE 6)
NOTE: The RECLINER is folded for either storage or
transporting. One side of the spreader bar must be re-
moved and placed in a vertical position along side the
recliner tube.

WARNING
REMOVING FROM THE STORED POSITION.
1. Rotate the end of the spreader bar 90
opposite side frame.
2. Install threaded end of locking knob into locknut lo-
cated on the opposite side frame. Securely tighten
both knobs.
PLACING IN THE STORED POSITION.
1. Unthread one (1) locking knob from the side frame.
2. Rotate detached end of the spreader bar 90
toward floor.

Replacing (FIGURE 7)
1. Unthread both locking knobs that secure the spreader
bar to the side frames.
2. Remove existing spreader bar.
3. Secure NEW spreader bar to the side frames with
the existing locking knobs. Securely tighten.
