Maintenance works on the tender
1. Dismantle housing (Fig. 7)
Remove the 4 screws (08) and pull the housing (03) up and off.
2. Replace PCB (Fig. 7)
Dismantle housing, see point 1. Remove fastening screw (04) and lift
PCB (05) up and out. Remove all cables by disconnecting the cable
holders (13) and the connection lead (06). Please mark where the
individual cables and plugs were fastened.
3. Replace connection lead (Fig. 7)
Dismantle housing, see point 1. Remove fastening screw (04).
Pull web plate (09) off to the back and disconnect the connection
lead (06).
4. Maintenance work to the wheelsets (Fig. 7)
The maintenance diagram (Fig. 8) only shows the parts for the left
side of the wheelsets. The right side is identical accordingly.
Dismantle housing, see point 1. Remove PCB; see point 2.
Remove leads from underneath the lower chassis (25). Remove
screws (38) and take upper chassis (07) from lower chassis (25).
Remove braking rod (30). Pull off circlip (21). Remove bolts (31) and
take off spring package (32). Unscrew screws (19) and lift wheelset
(10) up and out.
5. Replacing the digital decoder / sound module (Fig. 7)
Dismantle housing, see point 1. Pull off connection lead (28 or 29). Pull
off digital decoder (28) or sound module (15) and connect new one.
Please mark where the individual connection leads were fastened.
Consult the installation and operation manual for the decoder to find
out about correct installation of the digital decoder, its plug-in
direction and re-programming.
6. Digitisation / sound upgrading (Fig. 7)
Dismantle housing, see point 1. Pull off interface plug (28) and plug
in digital decoder (27).
Caution: Ensure that pin 1 of the decoder coincides with pin 1 of the
interface and that switch S3 is set to digital, see page 24, point 9.
